The sigs are OK for the money, but i will tell you now that there are far better deals out there. Better rifles for less. Check out bravo company manufacturing (bravocompanyusa.com) for the absolute best rifle money can buy for that range of cost.

A lot better choices for the money. Although they are black rifles not the pretty sand color of the one you linked. I will offer my $0.02 when I get the chance.

 (ask in Spanish, it helps)

For a SHTF gun I would take a M4gery last. Chosen gun for me is a Garand in 30-06. Why? You can't even hide from me behind a Concrete Wall and be safe.
30-06; Turning cover into concealment for over 100 years.

The only complete AR rifle I'd pick up right now is a PSA, cause they're cheap and spec'd well. A built lower with a Colt, Bravo Company, or Daniel Defense complete upper would be a fine weapon.
An M1 from the CMP would be a pretty safe bet for under $700 (I think). An M1A is also very effective, and can be found used for around $1300-1500. When you're ready to shoot some suitable rifles, let me know....I've got a few of them. MBRs rule!!
