Bob

I want one but it kinda depends on the cost. I need a good leather belt, however moving expenses are coming up and I blew all my mad money two months ago on toys.

Here's my thoughts - for what they're worth...

I got a pretty good deal on belt blanks a while back, but then we had all the non-sense with the first belt project, so I decided to drop that idea. A lot of people put faith in a COTEP "brother" and got burned. It doesn't seem right to me to ask for people to invest in another project.

I'm working on a couple of prototypes to make sure I like what I come up with. At that point, I'll know how much effort is involved and then can decide on a cost.

I've thought about giving a significant discount to those who've a) bought a holster or b) got burned by the belts.

I've also thought about a "Grand Karma" and doing belts for anyone interested at my cost. I'll have to see how time consuming they are before I take that big of a step. I definitely feel like I need to give something back to the group.

What I'm thinking of will be a double thick (approx 1/4") belt, single stitched around the edges, with a simple, replaceable roller buckle in a complementary color. Probably no COTEP stamp, since i'm not sure where it'd look good.

Just some thoughts - let me know your thoughts, nothing is out of bounds.

Lane

You volunteered to be a victim...er, beta tester, remember? I may take a long time, but at least I'm slow.

I'm in the market for a belt as well. I like the idea of not having "cotep" on it. I first got the visual of giant letters running on the back of the belt like those with their names on it. Maybe on the inside of the belt near the buckle the cotep logo and your fancy logo as well. Either black or tan would look good, right now I can remember what color holster I ordered

Lane

Would like a nice belt to go with my holster. Like the simple belt, functional buckle and maybe 7-holer/ 3/4" spacing for more flexibility instead of usual 5-holer. I would be proud to have a Lasco stamp on back side instead of a COTEP stamp. Discount for Lasco holster holders sound fantastic. "Krazy burnt" is nice gesture but is your call (however, I am one).

Thanks
