, what powder will work best depends on your barrel-length and what you intend the round to do. In mid-range loads, I've had alot of luck with Unique(A little dirty but accurate powder) and AA-7. Unless you have a six-inch barrel I would stay away from slower-burning powders like 2400, 296, H110, AA-9 and such.

13 grains of 2400, WSP primer,158Hardcast SWC. OAL 1.65" Does about 1325fps in my and my friends' 6" 357s.
also,6.5 grains of unique renders about the same velocity.
