The pistol was received by the finisher today and I should have it back in 4-6 weeks.
In the meantime,  has been working on the camel bone grips. Here's a pic of the completed grips: Next, the grips go to Jason for some scrimshawing. Since I was a Mustang, I thought something to remind me of both my enlisted and officer days might be nice. I'm having the navy officer's crest done on one panel, and navy crossed anchors, the symbol of my enlisted rating, on the other. I'm waiting patiently, Doc!
