I don't know very much about this dagger; the Maker's name is D. A. Horne; supposedly from Oklahoma City; from what I've heard he made about 400 or so knives. Here's a Celtic Pattern Dagger with a wood sheath. This picture doesn't do the knife justice; there is engraving on the blade on both sides...
![]() As an aside; I do buy, sell, and trade custom made knives!

OK, I've got the process down a lot better now, and cranked out a knife in a day.
It's a roach belly kitchen knife with a red oak handle. A traditional design...Before there were "chef's knives" there were roach belly kitchen knives... ![]()

Okay, so I'll play.
Went to the gun show yesterday. Took a friend just to look around a pickup stuff. We each got a 1000 rounds of 5.56 and a 6 pack of 30 round Pmags, because why mama always asks... BECAUSE you can never have much I tell her. She knows better than to ask that question. ![]() Anyway I introduced my friend Bob to my friend Ed he owns Salish Knives... ![]() Bob started looking around and I watched his eyes start to glaze over, Ed does some amazing work. I had asked him about making me a Damascus carving set about 6 months ago. Well he brought me a carving knife and a chefs chopper. Carver has a rose wood handle and the chopper is ebony with a copper hilt. The balance is perfect and you can shave with either one of them. Bob wanted the chopper, I said ok and Ed said if I liked the carver he will make me a matching fork. I can hardly wait. ![]()
