Thank you. I think I'm more happy with this one than I would have been with a new one.
Not considering the huge price differences a gun that was still new and almost twenty years old was more of a turn on for me. True time piece in perfect working order. Now I done gone and ruined it by shooting it........

Great score, my friend.
Kelly had some heart problems, but is back at Wilson. They number the parts when the pistol is kitted for fitting, I believe. You could probably get 3 bills for the old blue Flying Eagle gun rug. The new WC logo looks like dog crap on a hot tar road

That is one fine pistol!
My latest Wilson came with a Shok Buff installed, too. I puled it out as soon as I saw it. The sell 'em; so you know they're gonna try to peddle 'em. A solution in need of a problem, just like FLGR's.

Well when this pistol was built FLGRs and Shok Buffs were all the rage. And people swore by them. I left it in. Got about 300+ rnds thru it and may shoot some more tomorrow or next day. Will let things mate up for 500rnds and then clean it. I will probably send the slide back to them for new sights after that.
