unfortuntalely and not really a laughing matter where this is concerned but I tend to do *stuff* in my sleep so I can't keep a loaded gun at the ready. I keep the mag in the opposite nightstand.
I've woken up on a bare mattress with sheets and pillow cases in the hallway, for instance  I'm divorced (2x) so the poor dog is usually subject to my shenanigans.
